Szechuan Sauce Sour

A tangy and spicy cocktail inspired by the infamous Szechuan sauce.

    Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz Szechuan peppercorn syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Lemon twist for garnish

    Preparation

  1. In a shaker, combine bourbon, lemon juice, Szechuan peppercorn syrup, and egg white.
  2. Dry shake (without ice) to emulsify egg white.
  3. Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
  4. Strain into a coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with a twist of lemon and serve.
