This Privacy Policy explains how MixGenius ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the MixGenius mobile application ("App"). We do not collect: Audio recordings (the microphone permission is used solely for in-app audio playback features and no recordings are transmitted or stored) Location data Payment or financial information Contacts or device files

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: Create and manage your account Personalise your experience (e.g. saved recipes) Improve the App's features and performance Respond to your support requests Send important account-related notifications We do not use your data for advertising purposes, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

We process your personal data under the following legal bases: Contract: processing your account information to provide the service you signed up for Legitimate Interests: analysing anonymous usage data to improve the App Consent: where you have explicitly agreed to optional features

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Google Firebase / Analytics

We use Google Firebase to collect anonymous usage analytics and monitor App stability. Firebase may collect device identifiers and usage events. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf. 5.2 No Other Third Parties

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months.

9. Children's Privacy

MixGenius is intended for users aged 18 and over. The App features content related to alcoholic beverages and is not directed at individuals under the legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you within the App where appropriate. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
