Shamrock Sour

A frothy and fresh cocktail with a hint of green for St. Patrick's Day.

    Ingredients

  • 2 oz Irish whiskey
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Green food coloring

    Preparation

  1. In a shaker, combine Irish whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, egg white, and a drop of green food coloring.
  2. Dry shake (without ice) to froth the egg white.
  3. Add ice and shake again until chilled.
  4. Strain into a glass and garnish with a slice of lemon.
