A Fenugreek Wedding
Uses fenugreek sprouts as a main ingredient .
- 16 ounces water
- 8 ounces fenugreek sprouts
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 4 ounces fenugreek tea
- 1 1/2 ounces New Amsterdam Gin
- 1 teaspoon strawberry jam
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce ginger ale
Ingredients
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan
- add the fenugreek sprouts
- reduce the heat
- and steep for 10 minutes. Sweeten with the honey
- strain the tea
- and allow it to cool before continuing the recipe.
- Combine the fenugreek tea
- gin
- strawberry jam
- and lime juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Float ginger ale on top.
